Ocean Waves Quilt: Light Blue + White
Stunning antique Ocean Waves quilt estimating to be made around 1910’s. A true heirloom piece that showcases beautiful piecing and hand quilting by the quilter. 9 SPI stitching throughout, with floral stitching in solid white squares, and straight stitches through all of the blue/white pieces. This quilt is in near perfect condition especially for it’s age. The fabrics are strong and there is no signs of rot or shattering anywhere. The light blue is even and shows no signs of fading or bleeding. There are a few tiny stains (smaller than a penny) and two small tears which are very minor and do not take away from the quilt. It’s likely the stains will lift with a spot treatment or perhaps get lighter, I have not tried.

Most importantly this quilt should not be cut or used for any type of projects. It should be kept as a quilt that is either showcased as a display piece, used gently as a quilt, and most importantly cherished forever.
